A Louis XVI style cast-iron console table, early 20th century, the rounded rectangular white marble top above an arcaded frieze and a pair of scrolling cabriole supports with gilt-decorated foliate knees, 91cm high, 120cm wide, 39cm deep

Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, The surface has been later brown painted and parcel gilt, this appears to have been later done - the top edge with a felt padding to protect the marble and metal from rubbing. There are some old paint deposits to to the rear of the frame The marble appears to be associated, the corners have been rounded recently and the surface here is quite bright white The marble with the usual nicks and chips to the edges and extremities This console has not been built whilst at Dreweatts for the view - it has been presented disassembled PLease refer to additional images for visual reference to condition
