A MINIATURE GILT-BRONZE BUDDHA HEAD
China, Qing Dynasty (1644 to 1912). The miniature gilt-bronze buddha head with beautifully cast aristocratic facial features, gently curving eyebrows above heavy-lidded downcast eyes, full lips forming a benevolent smile, long earlobes, and the hair in tight curls rising to form the ushnisha.
Condition: Very good condition with traces of wear and age. The firing casting core is still in place.
