A Meissen (Marcolini) part tea service, circa 1780
painted in purpurmalerei with flowers, comprising: a bullet-shaped teapot and cover, a baluster jug and cover and a large tea bowl and saucer, blue crossed swords and star marks
Condition Report:
a bullet-shaped teapot and cover, 21.5cm. wide, 8 1/2 in.: generally in good condition with some minute rim chips to the teapot rim and to the spout a baluster jug and cover, 14.cm. high: ground to the spout a large tea bowl and saucer: the saucer moulded with flutes to the interior border and slightly warped. hairline crack to edge of saucer and some slight wear.
