A NIDERVILLER FLORAL ENCRUSTED PARCEL-GILT BLUE GROUND PORCELAIN VASE CLOCK À CERCLES TOURNANTE, 19TH CENTURY, of vasi-form with a stylized bell form lid with pinecone finial above long white biscuit stiff leaves on a gilt seed speckled and glazed deep blue ground body, opening to an interior clock mechanism with double spoke wheel type works stamped 46 above a gilt bronze and blued cut steel mechanism with engraved "F" and "S" lever, and engraved 46, within a gilt speckled deep blue body mounted with a gilt bronze star and arrow pointer, over double white enamel bands of black Arabic five minute numerals above black Roman hour chapters, flanked by bisque maiden masks wearing delicate white floral encrusted diadems continuing down and joined under the chin, over similar paired bisque floral pendants before sides with finely detailed blossoming bisque swags, beneath oval parcel gilt bordered reserves centering hand painted views of figures amidst rural landscapes with waterside structures, above demi-gilt reeding tapering to a scalloped socle with leaf tip detailed circular foot on a faux marbre enameled square form plinth, verso unglazed with blurry illegible blue mark in the porcelain, a hand gilt stylized swastika mark and an incised "Z" on both the underside of base and the interior of the lid.
