A Nepalese wooden figure of Buddha Dipankara. 17th century, polychromy probably 19th century
Carved in one piece but lower arms, depicted standing on a lotus throne, with his hands in varada and abhaya mudra. Wearing colourful monk garnments, a large crown and jewellery.
Size: Height 55 cm
Condition: Shoulder fragment reattached, lower arms' joints loose, old repaint, chipping and minor fissures.
