A North Schleswig Empire partiel silver-gilt vinaigrette, gilt interior, of vase-shape with pierced finial, hinged upper part, two handles, engraved with light decoration and set with red and green glass stones, bottom with hinged balm hide and here pricked “Chr. L. Jessen K. Gottfresen 1858”. Maker Wolfgang Petersen, licensed in Haderslev 1825–1851. Weight 104 g. H. 12.5 cm.
Provenance: Christian Peter Jensen (b. Jernvedlund near Ribe 1893, d. in the late 1970s in Haderslev). He was known as “Antik-Jensen” in his antique shop in Haderslev in the 1950s-1970s. Thence by his descendants until today.

Condition: Minor wear due to age and use, including few and small marks and scratches. Lid and finial a bit loose. Tilting a bit on base. Few glass stone a bit worn.
