A North Schleswig Empire silver vinaigrette, gilt interior, of vase-shape with pierced finial, hinged upper part, two handles, chased with garlands and foliage, set with red glass stones, bottom with hinged balm hide and a Danish coin anno 1854, here also pricked “JHS KLD 1824”. Maker Fridrich Wilhelm Siewers, licensed in Haderslev 1809–1866. Weight 57 g. H. 9 cm.
Provenance: Christian Peter Jensen (b. Jernvedlund near Ribe 1893, d. in the late 1970s in Haderslev). He was known as “Antik-Jensen” in his antique shop in Haderslev in the 1950s-1970s. Thence by his descendants until today.

Condition: Minimal wear due to age and use, including few and light surface scratches and marks. The finial a tiny bit loose plus a few stones with cracks/chips.
