A PAIR OF FRENCH SECOND EMPIRE GILT METAL AND BRONZE FOUR-LIGHT CANDELABRA CIRCA 1860Each with central stem above three scrolling branches, scrolling foliate bases, six later glass candle fitmentseach 57.5cm high overallCondition Report: Height to top of column excluding section that holds arms is 37cm - see additional photograph with tape measure.Overall matt gilded with some polished gilding to the reeded column.There are traces of gilt paint to the underside suggesting that it is later in part or full.Some mottled dark spots with dust to the recesses.The detachable nozzles have some dents to them.The glass candle holders are later and do not fit in the nozzles.Some of the branches are at slightly different angles so that the nozzles are not at quite the same angle and level.Please see the additional photographs for a visual reference of condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
