A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARMCHAIRS CIRCA 1780Each with a shaped padded back and scroll-carved arms above a serpentine seat on cabriole legs 92cm high, 60cm wide, 50cm deep Condition Report: Good, structurally secure with wear and tear consistent with age and use. There are dents marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks. Chair 1 with later corner blocks and replaced struts to front seat rail joints.Chair 2 with later blocks to all four seat rail joints, the front and rear seat rails replaced and with old pegged repairs to top of front left leg.The upholstery is tidy though would undoubtedly benefit from a light clean.
