A PAIR OF GEORGE IV CARVED GILTWOOD AND UPHOLSTERED ARMCHAIRS POSSIBLY BY GILLOWS, CIRCA 1825 each 98cm high, 66cm wide, 62cm deep Condition Report: Chairs with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. The expected old splits and chips. Some very minor evidence of old (dead) worm in places - see images. The gilt with various chips, wear and losses. Some slight movement within joints, but both chairs structurally solid overall. Some areas of wear, marks and fraying to upholstery in places - see images.
