These octagonal ovoid vases are richly adorned with underglaze-blue depictions of ho-ho birds among peonies, chrysanthemums, and hydrangeas, set against rockwork within a fenced garden scene. A narrow band of uchiwa motifs encircles the base, while the shoulders feature panels of floral sprays, framed beneath additional uchiwa patterns.
