modelled by Johann Joachim Kändler, with green, red and black plumage, each perched on a slender stump applied with turquoise leaves, indistinct impressed numerals
height 10 5/8 in. and 10 1/8 in.
27 cm and 25.7 cm

Condition Report:
Both are in overall good appearance and generally good condition with some typical restorations to extremities. In detail: Example facing its left. The upper part of its beak re-stuck approximately halfway. Its beak overall with over-paint to the black enamel. There are some small patches of retouched green enamel on its right wing and one small patch on its back. Seven leaves with a patch of restoration to a tip, one of which is also chipped. Example facing its right. Its beak overall with over-paint to the black enamel and tip of its tongue. One talon tip on right foot restored and restoration to four leaves on base.
