A PAIR OF VICTORIAN PAINTED CAST IRON AND WOOD PLANK GARDEN PARK BENCHES, LATE 19TH CENTURY, each with horizontal planked backs and seats within reticulated cast iron sides of black painted scrolling leafy vines. Height: 34" Width: 58 1/2" Depth: 24"
Condition Report: The heavy cast iron sides are in good condition with expected marks, scratches, dings, small patches of surface rust and buildup throughout as well as covered in a later flaking black paint. The wood plank back and seats are thickly cut, weathered, age cracks and traces of white paint throughout. Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
