each side of the jardinière delicately painted with shaped panels depicting figural scenes underneath a 'cracked-ice' ground border with blooms, the underdishes decorated with floral sprigs on four sides and supported by bracket feet
width 10 in.; 25.5 cm
Condition Report:
Both jardinieres in overall good condition, and both with an original drain aperture to the center of the base which has been plugged. The underside base with a black, lacquer-like substance adjacent to the aperture. One underdish with a firing flaw to the rim, the other with restored hairline extending from the rim. All pieces with minor firing imperfections and expected wear, especially just above the foot on the jardinieres.
