A Pair of Restauration Gilt Bronze-Mounted Bleu Celeste Sèvres Porcelain Urns, Circa 1820, the Porcelain Later Decorated
each with inset green painted tole liners; alterations to the foot

height 11 3/4 in.; diameter 10 1/4 in.
29.9 cm; 26 cm

Condition Report:
Each has lost its original porcelain foot and has been mounted later. One with
two chips to the upper turned rim at the lower section of the body. The other
with several chips to the upper turned rim at the lower section of the body, and a 1cm x 1cm chip to the upper rim edge.

It is possible these are ice-pails and were part of the service gifted to Giovanni Battista, cardinal-conte Caprara Montecuccoli.
