A Porcelain-Mounted Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock, Late 19th Century
set with two figures of 'putti in disguise' and a figure of a child, surrounded by leafy gilt-bronze branches applied with porcelain flowers, on a gilt-bronze pierced rocaille-scroll base, one figure with entwined S mark for Samson

height 12 7/8 in.; width 8 1/2 in.; depth 4 1/2 in.

Condition Report:
The applied flowers with some minor scattered chips to petals. The uppermost figure with restoration to right hand and a firing crack to neck. Minor chips to applied leaves on the bases of all three figures.The gilt bronze with rubbing and oxidation to surfaces throughout. Some accumulation of surface dust.
