BP). Please note, in day light and under a bright light, the lacquer has the appearance of being dark green, however at a glance it can appear black. Potential buyers should satisfy themselves as to the colour of lacquer or paint of the frame. Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, chips, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use.The mirror plate has age but is unlikely to be original; there is some evidence of old worm; subtle aging to the japanning. In day light and under a bright light, the lacquer has the appearance of being dark green, however at a glance it can appear black.
