In overall fine and stable condition. Refinished surface. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Few age cracks to the top. Patches visible to one of the rule joints at the front and back edges of the joint and a small patch to the opposing leaf near the hinge. Secondary wood appear to be oak, suggesting English origins. May be assembled of old elements.
