Comprising 16 drawings, graphite on illustration board, each numbered and with a typed description on the lower left of mat, each matted; with an additional larger illustration, matted. Art director Cedric Gibbons was at the helm of this Technicolor extravaganza starring Robert Taylor and Deborah Kerr. A love story amidst the conflicts during the reign of Emperor Nero, the dark and moody production art gives detailed depictions of the action in each scene, from dramatic renderings of villagers howling in despair to emotional scenes with Marcus Vinicius (played by Taylor), and more.
