A RARE CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE VARIATION OF THE 1833 MODEL
Wonderful, curved, single-and false-edged blade, in fine damask, with central fuller, engraved and partially gilded with trophies, Pandur's head, sun, crescent, stars and floral motifs, first part of the back engraved and gilded with foliage, marked on the tang with a king's head; iron hilt with sword-shell with four loop-guards, long, smooth cap and with olive-button. Anatomic, ebony, checkered grip. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings on round and convex bands. Complete with clutches and sword-knot.
