Tanjore work, the entire guard elaborately pierced and chiseled with vegetal motifs, the straight, double-edged blade swollen at the forte in cobra style and serrated along each edge, terminating in an armor-piercing tip and showing evidence of damascus forging. Retains its original scabbard. 17th century. Generally worn. Overall length 56.5cm
