A REGENCY GILTWOOD AND VERRE EGLOMISE TRIPLE PLATE OVERMANTEL MIRROR EARLY 19TH CENTURY The cornice with applied buttons above a frieze with flower and trellis panels centred by a landscape cartouche the plates divided by reeded columns, re-gilt66cm high, 154cm wide Provenance: Acquired from John G. Morris Ltd, Petworth, 24 July 1990 Condition Report: Good, structurally secure with wear and tear consistent with age and use. There are dents marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks. As noted the frame is re-gilt, the glass replaced. There is wear and minor chips to the gilding. The eglomise glass with peeling and some loss to the reverse decoration.Condition Report Disclaimer
