China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of cylindrical form, the reticulated sides cast with a three-clawed dragon, clinging on to the flaming pearl of knowledge surrounded by endless scrolling clouds, with a meander-pattern band at the rim and a border of waves and clouds at the foot.
Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age, surface scratches, and verdigris.
