A ROSENTHAL KOREAN DANCER ART DECO FIGURINE
A rare porcelain figurine manufactured by the Rosenthal Porcelain Factory titled "Korean Dancer" Model H. 566. The figurine was designed by Constantin Holzer-Defanti, an Austrian sculptor, who worked for Rosenthal from 1918 -1927. It was made in Bavaria, Germany, ca. 1920. The figure is patterned after renowned dancer Anita Berber doing a Korean dance. The figurine is marked on the base in green ink: Selb-Bavaria and impressed number H566.
