each modeled recumbent with head turned slightly to one side, the fur simulated in copper-red with details picked out in underglaze blue, the back with a quatrefoil-shaped aperture

Condition Report:
Both with restoration to antlers and ears, the tips of the feet have been touched up likely concealing frits. The tail of one with restoration, and the right front and back legs with overpaint. The other with overpaint to the jaw, likely concealing a chip. Overall with minor firing imperfections and minor wear to the surface. As seen in the illustration, one is slightly misfired and the copper red has turned slightly darker in color.
