A Roman blue-green glass cylindrical bottle
A Roman blue-green glass cylindrical bottle, Eastern Mediterranean, 3rd - 4th Century AD, the body with rounded shoulders and near flattened bottom. The neck is short with rim folded in and flattened. H: 4 1/4 in (10.7 cm). Well-preserved with mottled encrustation and light silvery iridescence. Cf. Yale 221 for an identical example. Ex Lecker collection, FL, acquired in the early 1980's.
