A Roman bronze decorative finial, c. 1st - 4th Century AD, with two tiers of acanthus leaves surmounted by a knob resembling a pomegranate. An interesting piece which was part of a piece of furniture or similar. H: 2 1/8 in (5.4cm). Light deposits. Ex collection of William Major Tedder.
