A Roman red-ware vessel, Egypt, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, the rounded body with applied horizontal ribbing/rippling throughout body, the surfaces nicely red slipped. 4 1/2 x 6 5/8 in (11.4 x 16.8 cm). Light deposits. Ex Reed collection, UK, acquired in the 1930's - 40's.
