Condition Report:
Overall structurally sound. Upholstery with significant wear and in need of replacement, as visible in catalogue images. With age cracks throughout and some shrinkage to joints at headrest. The mahogany veneers with scattered fraying, lifting, losses, patches and repairs and infill throughout. Sun fading to one side. Rubbing and scattered losses to the gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole, and bare wood in places. Could benefit from some cosmetic attention if desired.
