An incomplete satsuma ceramic tea service consisting of one teapot with cover, six cups with matching saucers, a milk jug with cover and a sugar bowl and cover with two handles as well as five larger dishes. Each is finely painted with polychrome enamels with gold showing scenes with dense flowers, trees and birds. Each piece is signed on the underside in gold.
HEIGHT 16.5 cm teapot, DIAMETER dishes 12 - 15.5 cm
Condition: Incomplete, in very good condition with few firing imperfections and minor wear to enamels.
