A SMALL MING-STYLE BRONZE CENSER WITH SINI CALLIGRAPHY
China, for the Islamic Export Market, late Qing Dynasty (1644 to 1912). The small rectangular bronze censer supported on four bracket feet and flanked by a pair of angular handles. Both sides of the censer showing an incised Sini Script of the first verse of the shahada, inside lobed cartouches. (translated= There's no god but God). The bottom of the censer with a seal script mark.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear, traces of use, nicks, dents, and occasional light scratches.
