Note to Buyers:This lot is comprised of a set of 6 and a pair of very similar but associated chairs.Each in overall stable, usable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Two chairs from the set of six with repaired breaks to legs. One with a front leg repair the another with a repair to the back leg. One of the associated pair with a column support on backrest re-attached with modern hardware. Chairs re-blocked. Additional images available upon request. Provenance: Purchased by the consignor's interior designer (Branca, Inc.) at auction in 2010 for $29,000. It is not known which auction; the consignor only has the designer's invoice with line item and purchase price.
