Attractive, mostly stable condition. The surface with signicant scuffs and marks consistent with age and use. Scattered age splits to the top. The gilding to the front is old but not original. The hinges are replaced but the lock is original, however the lock catch is missing from the inside of the top. No key. The interior has been partially rebuilt; the bottom slats are 20th century cedar planks, and there are additional reinforcements to the inside back. The back has been upholstered, likely early 20th century. The feet are likely original.
