A TOBACCONIST'S POLYCHROME DECORATED CARVED WOOD ADVERTISING 'HIGHLANDER' FIGURE LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY Probably originally an outdoor figure, with metal securing bracket to the back 107cm high Condition Report: The figure has the bottom half of three fingers missing from the true right hand. There are old shrinkage splits and some gaps to the joints, particularly one arm terminal. Some wood loss particularly to the base, The base has some splits and there are exposed nail heads. Some rubbing, wear, scratching and marking to the decoration. The decoration is not original, There are losses, scratching, marking, wear and rubbing to the painted decoration.
