A Victorian Etruscan Revival gold bangle, c.1870,
with an oval shield form centrepiece. An oval boss decorated with five twisted wire and applied beads to a concave surround. A domed frame with twisted wire swags to fan shapes at each side with bead terminals, a tapered top half with rows of twisted wire crescents to a bloomed ground, with a concealed box clasp and safety chain. Tested as approximately 9ct gold. Centrepiece 27mm wide, interior dimensions 55 x 48mm, 14.10g
