A Victorian brass bound walnut domed top stationery box, with scroll handle and applied strapwork decoration, fitted interior, 22cm wide; and a similar coromandel stationery box, 20cm wide (2)
Condition Report:
. coromandel- internal spacers lacking, hinges replaced, lock possible replaced, metal work with some dents and some veneer cracking and wear to the domed top. Walnut example- heavily faded, large areas off veneer loss to top,side and base, veneer cracking and bubbling throughout, main body and top cracking/ separating at construction, metal work with some scratches and one internal divider lacking
