A Victorian hardstones and Ashford marble inlaid miniature table,
19th century
the circular top inlaid with specimen marble on a simulated malachite ground, the whole set in a black marble border and raised on a baluster stem and circular foot
20cm. high, 26cm. diameter; 8in., 10¼in.
Condition Report:
In overall good restored condition. The top presents breaks which have now been restored and riveted. And the top presents signs that it was once detached from the stem and foot, some residual glue to the top of stem. Residual sticker glue to one specimen on the top, this could easily be removed. Otherwise minor old marks, scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use. Minor chipping and looses to the borders of the faux malachite ground.
