A Victorian sterling silver dessert or fruit bowl, London 1848 by John Samuel Hunt Of octofoil lobed form with a moulded rim interspersed with cast and applied flower heads, all raised on four cast and applied scroll feet with acanthus and flower head junctions. The body with embossed decoration of floral sprays with interlinked foliate scrolls. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath and stamped HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR AND MORTIMER & HUNT.
