Alejandro Vigilante (Argentinian, born 1964). Large acrylic painting on board, an ironic pop art representation of American actor Steve McQueen (1930-1987). Influenced by Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Rauschenberg, and referred to by the artist as "i-Art," the work depicts an imagined email message that the figure might have sent in today’s networked culture.
