A WEDGWOOD BLACK BASALT 'ENCAUSTIC'-DECORATED AMPHORA VASE CIRCA 1800

with a waisted trumpet neck, affixed with a high loop handle, painted in terracotta-red and white, the stepped shoulder with a band of anthemion, the body with a seated and two standing female figures, above a chevron band, impressed uppercase WEDGWOOD.

Condition Report:
In good condition and appearance. There is a patch of discoloration to the enamel of the seated figure on her right elbow.
