A WEDGWOOD BLUE AND WHITE JASPERWARE TEAPOT AND COVER CIRCA 1785

shape no. 303, the solid-blue 'dimpled' body applied in relief with scenes from 'The Reading Lesson', above an acanthus leaf band, affixed with a white jasper leaf-molded spout and handle, the cover with a Cupid knop, impressed uppercase WEDGWOOD mark.

Condition Report:
The piece is in overall good appearance.
There is a small chip to rim of spout. There is a four point star crack body crack to the side not illustrated in the catalogue. To the side illustrated there is a faint body crack located at the acanthus leaf decoration, measuring approximately 3.5 cm
