A WILLIAM III WALNUT SIDE CHAIRCIRCA 1700109cm high, 54cm wide, 61cm deepCondition Report: Chair with marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. As illustrated the chair is not upholstered and only the underlying hessian and padding is present.Various old tac holes to frame from previous upholstery. Various evidence of old worm (see images). Some old but later supporting metal braces to the supports of the back. Both rear legs have been re-tipped. Front seat rail is a later replacement. Later supporting blocks of timber to the backs of both side rails. Later supporting corner blocks to the underside of the seat. The underside of the stretcher stamped 'EN'. It is likely that the stretcher is a very well matched old replacement. There is later metal bracing between one rear leg and the stretcher. Various old losses to seat rails. Old vacant holes to undersides of front feet from where castors sat. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
