A William IV San Domingo mahogany bookcase, the upper part with three Gothic-type astragal glazed doors with carved spandrels and a cornice supported by acanthus capitals; the lower cupboard with three paneled doors on a platform base. Fitted with double action Brahma locks.

England, circa 1835.

Condition:

Condition: Original Bramah Patent locks and key. Consisting of two cabinets, one double door and one single door, the upper part each with three adjustable shelves. The lower part each with one adjustable shelf. The well carved woodwork is in good condition with no visible signs of losses or damage. There is a old crack to one of the glass panels on the right hand door.
