A Western Asiatic bronze figure of a horse, c. 1200 - 800 BC, with long slender body and legs and long tail. The head is detailed, the flattened muzzle with mouth, domed eyes and alert ears; at the shoulder is a suspension loop. 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 in (3.8 x 6.9 cm). Nicely patinated.
