A black-brown glazed Chinese "Henan" wine jar, probably Song/Yuan DynastyA marvellous formed bottle, covered overall in an thick iridescent black glaze, pooling at the foot, revealing the buff ware. The vase shows a sharp kink to the shoulder, the narrow neck flaring at the rim. The underside and strong footring unglazed. One chip glued at the rim. Otherwise intakt. Height 16 cm. Diameter 16 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a Munich private collection, acquired on the German art market before 1980.Condition: II
