A blue painted metal, composition and glazed lantern, English or French, late 19th century, the domed top and tapered cylindrical body cast with openwork foliate and geometric cresting, approximately 90cm high, 50cm diameter Condition Report: Top glass pane is broken. The upper section of the interior has been fully adapted and encloses a large modern light fitment. The panes inset in the body are variously scratched, and feel like they may be a type of plastic. The lantern is quite scuffed and dusty overall, and would benefit from a clean overall.Sold as a decorative item, please have tested by a certified electrician prior to use.Part of the cresting has broken off.
