The handle is angular, made of jade with a cast and chased silver chimpanzee hugging it, with ruby beaded eyes. A collar made of guilloche red enamel with a fastening mechanism inside is framed by hammered edges of leaves, with the initials of the master, the hallmark of C. Faberge inside. 88 standard silver.
