A carved oak coffer, 18th century, the plank top above a panelled front carved with stylised scrolling flowers on a dot pattern ground, on reeded square section stile legs, 78cm x 113.5cm x 54.5cm
Condition Report:
A marriage with more recent hinges, support battons and back panels. Hole in right hand side of base. Old damage and wear associated with age. Back left joint slightly loose. Remains of woodworm but this does not affect the stability itself.
