A collection of typed working and rehearsal scripts for 1950s TV programme "Before Your Very Eyes" , some autographed in ballpoint by Arthur Askey, some with his working notes, corrections and uplifts in pencil or ballpoint, sketches including Goalkeeper, Boy Scout, Haunted House, Desert Island, Napoleon, Piano (Schubert) etc (1 box - 13) Before Your Very Eyes was a BBC and later ITV sketch show which an for 31 episodes over 7 series between 1952 and 1958. Primary Cast being Arthur, Sabrina, Diana Decker and Dickie Henderson. Written by Sid Colin, Talbot Rothwell and David Climie. Original transmission 6th April 1952 - 15th April 1955 on BBC and 10th February 1956 - 5th May 1958 ITV.
