A fine and rare Fabergé gold and enamel miniature bonbonnière chair, workmaster Michael Perchin, St Petersburg, circa 1898

in the form of a French Empire fauteuil en gondole, the ground engraved to simulate mahogany grain beneath
translucent red enamel, the arms and back with pierced lyre-form supports, the seat enamelled in imitation of silk with
translucent green over banded wavy engine-turning and decorated with paillions including a central urn, the front with
a removable drawer, struck with workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 72 standard, scratched inventory number

Condition Report:
[Overall in very good, almost perfect condition. The front of the right armrest with a shallow chip to the top layer of enamel, not to the metal (approximately 5mm long); the top green surface with a pin-head sized nick. The back of the gold rim with minor surface wear consistent with age.
